Ann Louise (nee Miceli) Trombino

March 10, 1958 - November 12, 2021

Ann Louise Miceli Trombino of Delray Beach, FL and Gurnee, IL, 63, passed peacefully from this life on November 12, 2021 at Lake Forest Hospital surrounded by family. She was born at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Illinois on March 10, 1958 to Doris and Joseph Miceli. As a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, she began a career at Abbott Laboratories in their Finance Department, which afforded her the opportunity to travel the country. As a passionate political observer, she held great patriotism and love for her country. Later in life, she left her career to become a full-time mother to two children. She also acquired a family business started by her parents with the goal of handing it over to her son. She successfully fulfilled her lifelong dream of keeping the business alive and in the family. She spent her most recent days with her grandchildren in Aiken, SC. She is survived by a large extended family, including her partner Dominic Ruggeri of Delray Beach, FL; two children, Megan (Brian) Pruitt of Aiken, SC and Michael (Kasia) Trombino of Lake Villa, IL; two brothers, Steve (Martha) Miceli of Placida, FL and Michael (Pete) Miceli of Pompano Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Faye and Hudson Pruitt; nieces and nephews Steve (Kelly) Miceli, John (Jamie) Miceli, and Christine Miceli; stepchildren Dominique, Nicole, and John Luke Ruggeri. Preceding her in death were her parents who she missed dearly and is now reunited with in Heaven. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 20 from 1 - 3 PM at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home, 408 N. Sheridan Road, Waukegan. A service will immediately follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated. Ann will be sorely missed by many who will love and cherish her memory. Until we meet again. Please sign our online guestbook at www.waukeganfunerals.com.
