Calvin Hearon
September 29, 2021 - December 28, 2021
Calvin Hearon was born September 29,1951 to Jimmie and Mary Herron who preceded him in death. Calvin graduated in 1969 from the enfamous "Cooley High" High School on Chicago's north side. Calvin continued to pursue his education and earned his undergraduate degree at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. Although Calvin faced many challenges in his life his education was very important to him. Calvin used the challenges in his life as opportunities to educate other people so they could have better lives, opportunities and experiences. Calvin loved to debate various topics and would go on and on until the other person gave in. Calvin's direct approach was some times misinterpreted and misunderstood - but that was how he showed love. One of Calvin's greatest accomplishments was marrying the love of his life, Liz. Marrying Liz transformed Calvin into a better person and gave him stability. Calvin always spoke very highly of Liz and how their union changed his life. Calvin has entered into that peaceful phase of his life where there will be no more pain, no sickness and no stress. Calvin's physical presence will be greatly missed along with his wittiness. The imprint of Calvin's footprints will forever be in our hearts. Calvin's memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Liz), his son Jim and daughter-in-law Mary. His grandchildren, Noah and Alexandra. His sisters Eunice Wright (Daniel), both preceded him in death, Angela-Denise Wells (Robert), and LaSandra Herron. And a host of friends and relatives. A memorial service for Calvin will be scheduled at a later date.
