Steven Edward Stadig

Steven Edward Stadig, 56, of Kenosha and formerly a long time resident of Zion passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Cancer Treatment Center of America at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion.
He was born August 17, 1961 in Waukegan.
Steven worked at the National Gypsum Company in Waukegan for 31 years.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Beamon of Kenosha; children, Felicia (Santos Rivera) Stadig of Kenosha, Larissa (Anthony) Albiter of Pleasant Prairie, Jose Rico of Georgia; grandchildren, Emma Vachon-Lindblad, Jaydyn Leon-Vachon, Jamal Gooch, Jr., Dylan Barrett, Edwin Rivera, Karma Levin, Kaydynce Rivera, Alyssa Levin; sisters, Susan (Paulie) Solomonson of Michigan, Pamala (Jeff) Swanson of Door County, Norma Podborny of Racine and several nieces and nephews.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mattie Sue Stadig; best friend, Bill Souther and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at PETERSON & PATCH FUNERAL HOME 408 N. Sheridan Rd. Waukegan. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 11:00 Am to time of service at the Funeral home.
