Thomas Allen Robert Palmer

June 8, 1970 - November 23, 2020

Thomas (Tom, Tommy) Allen Robert Palmer Jr, a loving and dear family member and friend to many, died unexpectedly at the age of 50 on November 23, 2020 at his home in Waukegan, IL. Tom was born June 8, 1970 to parents Thomas and Linda Palmer (Ford) Rivera. Thomas is survived by his sons Anthony (Jacquelyn) and Timothy Kepler; mother Linda (Luis) Rivera; sisters Laura Harris, Stephanie (John) Hogsett, Kelle (Justin) Perdue; grandsons Anthony Schroeder- Palmer and Adrian Palmer; nieces and nephews Megan (Jason) Czub, Kate Harris, Jeffrey (Nathali) Clay, Lindsey Hogsett, Tyler Hogsett; great-nephews and nieces Mason Czub, Jacob Clay, Emma Czub, Taylor Clay, Aiden Perdue, Adrien Perdue, Evangeline Schulien and a host of other family and close friends including a few childhood friends that he continued to hold close to him like family Corey Hicks and Terry Tapio. Thomas is preceded in death by Father Thomas Palmer Sr; grandparents Loren and Hilma Ford, Lilian Palmer; aunt and uncle Gloria and George Archdale; uncle Robert Ford; cousin Bobby Archdale. Tommy was an incredible artist who demonstrated his skills through drawing and his love for music. He really loved to watch sports and would memorize sports statistics. He loved to capture memories with pictures and enjoyed music of all kinds. Tom was a hard worker, always ready to lend a helping hand, loved being outside, and was the first one to jump in and play a game with the kids. Without question, Tom will be remembered for his infectious laugh, humorous personality, and loving heart. The list of family and friends is endless; he will truly be missed and remembered by many. To know him was to love him, to be around him was to be full of laughter. This unexpected void must be filled with joyous memories and the love we all have for him. Tom firmly believed that all was in God’s hands; we find comfort in faith knowing that he is at peace with God now. We ask that you keep our family in your prayers at this time and hold all of those dear to you a little bit tighter. His visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 beginning at 1:00pm until 5:00pm. As a true lover of animals, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ASPCA or animal shelter of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Peterson & Patch Funeral Home 408 N. Sheridan Rd. Waukegan. Please sign our online guestbook at www.waukeganfunerals.com.
