Amador Vazquez Obituary

Amador E. Vazquez, Sr., 87, of Waukegan passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at his home. He was born September 4, 1936 In San Carlos, N.L. Mexico and was a long time Waukegan resident. Amador was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church and served on the Holy Family finance committee and a member of Famenal. He was the long time owner of Konradt's Florist in Lake Forest before retirement and is owner of San Jose Social Center in Waukegan. Amador is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Silveria (nee Esparza) Vazquez; sons, Amador Vazquez, Jr.; Rolando (Stacey) Vazquez, Gerardo (Mildred) Vazquez; grandchildren, Stephanie (Daniel) Sackman, Jacob Nelson, Kayla Vazquez, Rolando Vazquez, Jr., Maximus Vazquez, Evan Vazquez, Leonardo Vazquez, Benjamin Vazquez; great grandchildren, Hannah and Lucy Sackman; sister, Ofelia Solis; brothers, Ervey (Alicia) Vazquez, Jose Luis (Ofelia) Vazquez and by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Esther Vazquez and daughter-in-law, Tammie Vazquez. Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Most Blessed Trinity Church (Holy Family Site) 450 Keller Ave. Waukegan with Father Gary Graf officiating. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home 408 N. Sheridan Rd Waukegan.
